Leena's Meantime

Leena focuses a little on finishing up her studies, but finds it to be quite arduous. She abandons her studies often to talk to the others around the hotel, getting to know who they are as a person. She asks about who they are, how they act, and what they do. She listens to their stories, writing down any inspirations they might give her for characters or her stories. Those who are observant can notice her trying to pick out what object of theirs might be their relic. She isn't aggressive in her search, just curious enough to put a few guesses out and write them down.

When she starts to run out of questions, she heads back to either her room or the cafeteria with notebooks, a laptop, and a few stories to read for herself. Her writings often go late into the night, occasionally jumping at the sight of the clock when she realizes she should be sleeping soon and rushing back to her room.

Hank occasionally is seen talking to Leena about various European mythologies, his personal favorites being Norse and Greek mythos. Her vast knowledge astounds him, especially her knowledge of Relics. They can be seen talking over breakfast every now and then.

Some of the time, Leena might catch Adelia staring at her but she always scampers off as soon as Leena notices her.

Rufus and Leena spend a little time together, and while he usually takes everyone out for a drank he's spent enough time with her that they have something worked out. They occasionally spend time together, that time consisting of him buying them food and them having some casual conversation. He'll take her to somewhere scenic to inspire her writing, and he'll clean his car quietly and/or enjoy the view as well.

Leena probably gets confused at Adelia's running away and probably calls after her once she's figured out her name from the others at the hotel.

Adelia stops staring so noticeable at Leena once Leena figures out what her name is, but still doesn't talk to her or get within talking distance.

Leena takes one of the buses, trying to board the same one as the prof so she can continue studying on her way out of Lebanon.
